Lower third maker
The name and title bar that slides in at the bottom of an interview, a podcast clip or a tutorial. Type the name and the role, pick your fonts and colours, decide how long it stays, and export it on a transparent background so it goes straight over your footage.

A lower third has a few seconds to be read: short lines, a solid panel behind the text, and enough time on screen. Keep it in the bottom third and away from the edges, so it survives being cropped for other platforms.
One file per guest
Once the style is right, save the project as a .smooth file. For each new guest, open it, change the two lines of text and export again: every lower third in the series matches.
Questions
- Why WebM and not MP4?
- MP4 can't hold transparency, so the bar would come with a solid background. A WebM keeps it, for any editor that reads WebM transparency, and for OBS.
- Can I add a logo or a photo?
- Yes. Add any image next to the text and animate it with the rest.
- Is it free?
- Yes: no account, no watermark, no limit on exports.
